History of formation & development
On February 28, 1985
Transport Materials Enterprise was established under Decision No. 623/QD-TCCQ dated February 28, 1985 of Hanoi People’s Committee. On May 10, 1988, Transport Materials Enterprise was renamed into Transport Services Enterprise according to Decision No. 2109/QD-TCCQ of the Hanoi People’s Committee.
On April 29, 1991
To restore passenger transport discipline in Hanoi City and implement the plan to move Kim Lien bus station to the outskirts of the City; on April 29, 1991, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision No. 776 QD /UB on the establishment of the Southern Bus Station due to merging Kim Lien bus station under the Bus Station Enterprise into the Transport Services Enterprise
On February 24, 1992
On February 24, 1992, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision 343 QD/UB on merging Kim Lien and Kim Ma convoys into the Southern Bus Station into Hanoi Southern Passenger Transport Company, helping passenger services into a closed cycle between bus stations and means of transport.
On May 25, 1996
With the innovation policies of the Party and State, in order to separate the state management function of bus stations from transport production and business activities, on May 25, 1996, Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision No. 1818/QD – UB on changing the name and adjusting the tasks of Hanoi Southern Passenger Transport Company into Hanoi Bus Station Management Company with charter capital: 9,800,000,000 VND (Nine billion eight hundred million VND)

Implementing the Party and State’s policies in piloting the operating model: Holding company – subsidiary company. On May 14, 2004, Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision No. 72/2004/QD-UB on the establishment of Hanoi Transport Corporation LTD (TRANSERCO) and Hanoi Bus Station Management Company which was transferred from Hanoi Department of Public Transport belonged to Hanoi Transport Corporation LTD (TRANSERCO).

To comply with the 2003 Law on State-owned Enterprises and the 2005 Law on Enterprises; on July 13, 2010, the People’s Committee of Hanoi City issued Decision No. 3458/QD-UBND on transferring Hanoi Bus Station Management Company into Hanoi Transport Station Company Limited with charter capital: 30,000,000,000 VND (Thirty billion VND)..
On April 23, 2014
Implementing the Project to restructure state-owned enterprises, focusing on economic groups, corporations and the plan to arrange and innovate 100% state-owned enterprises under Hanoi People’s Committee for the period 2012-2015. On April 23, 2014, Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision No. 2208/QD-UBND on converting Hanoi Transport Station Company Limited into Hanoi Transport Station Joint Stock Company. On May 5, 2014, Hanoi Transport Station Joint Stock Company was granted Business Registration Certificate No. 010 010 5528 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment with a charter capital of 95,000,000,000 VND (Ninety-five billion VND).
On October 1, 2015
After equitization, the Company has completed the procedures according to the provisions of the Securities Law on public company registration, securities depository registration at Vietnam Securities Depository and stock trading on UPCOM market. On September 4, 2014, the State Securities Commission approved the Company’s public profile; on October 1, 2015, Vietnam Securities Depository issued a Securities Registration Certificate; on October 8, 2015, Hanoi Stock Exchange approved the Company’s stock trading registration on UPCOM market
